My dogs are 5 yorkies - more spoilt than most. Yardio is a great way of working out - digging out sod is wonderful cardio.

[...] My Wednesday smoothie was extra-green tasting! I guess I didn’t get as much fruit in there as usual. Plus I added a new-to-me sprout. This mix had: mung bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, celery, spinach, 10 pineapple chunks and half a banana. It smelled like fresh-cut grass, which was fitting since Wednesday is my YARDIO day!
Hi Alexandra!

My dogs are a Weimaraner (Riley, she's the bigger one, almost 10 yrs old) and a not-so-miniature Miniature Pinscher (Rascal, the smaller one, 7 yrs old). They are spoiled rotten, but they're our 'kids' and it's too late to do anything about it now cuz they're used to it at this late stage of their lives!

I LOVE that you are giving your bod some SUNSHINE! That's excellent! When I was in an office all day I craved sunshine and never took the time to get it (especially during the winter months). I did on the weekends when I ran, but all of my weekday exercise was indoors because it was dark out. If I end up back in an office anytime soon, I plan to be much better about taking some OUTSIDE breaks during the sunshine hours. I love the sun and I love summer. The thought of short days and winter being on the way makes me sad!! I'm not ready to let go of my sun!

Have a GREAT Saturday, Alexandra!

Ha! Doody Duty, that's hilarious! I don't have pets but I knew right away what it meant! And yes, Yardio is a great total body workout!

That picture of your worn out pups is absolutely adorable. What breed of dogs are they?

Let's see, how am I going to reward my body this weekend for all it does you ask? Well, I've been rewarding it all week with making sure I exposed it to sun for at least 20-30 minutes (I'm in an office all day!) and not demanding too much of it in terms of exercise just different forms of yoga depending on my energy levels. I just got back from a 1 hour walk and my body is thanking me for it. This weekend more of the same, sun, movement and good wholesome food.

Hope you're having a great Friday evening.
