Hi Joan!

Here is the link to the recipe I used for the black bean burgers. I didn't add it to "Build-a-Meal" since I didn't tweak the recipe and it wasn't my 'creation'. I found this one at Cooks.com
I may play around with it and try to make it into other flavored burgers I like (like my favorite greek burger and THEN I'll put it in my recipe section! :)

So glad you liked the review of the protein powder! :)

WONDERFUL review blog Shari! Thanks. I currently use Rainbow Light Food Based Protien Energizer which is rice protein, no soy and 500 mg spirulina. I'll definately compare to what you reviewed if I can find it here. And thanks for including the difference of protein needed for avg people vs body builders. I never use the whole scoop cuz it seems like a lot but didn't know if I should. I'm gonna print this out and compare! I think they should send you free samples for a review...how lame.

Any chance of a recipe of your black bean burger? Or did I just not look in build-a-meal? Soooo lazy!

SHARI!!!! Thanks so much for the protien powder review. I am currently staring at the vast powders scratching my head. Protein is now the one thing I can't ever seem to get enough of and I am not a fan of soy protien etc...and have been slow to pick one to try! I have used the samples you sent me though!

I like the part where you said the sweetness would help eliminate sugars from smoothies! I have been trying to work on that too!

I am hitting my Sprouts today and maybe they will have that brand.

THANK YOU! This was such a helpful post! (and I just pulled out some pita out of the freezer to make pizzas but I love your bun idear!

glad you are on the mend! yoga yoga yoga!
