Happy New Year everyone! 2010 is upon us and I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun ride!
I’m foregoing a ‘regular blog post’ today to celebrate a different (and very special holiday) in my household!
Eight years ago today, I married my best friend, known on the FitFeat blog as MSP (My Sweetie Pie). I don’t put his handsome face on the blog very often but I made an exception today.
I’m so lucky to hold the honor of being his wife.

I love him even MORE after 8 fantastic years than I did when we married, if that’s even possible! He puts up with all my shenanigans, crazy-making, and the inevitable “Shari Adventures” that I somehow always seem to get us into. One of these years, I hope to learn how to have even a FRACTION of his patience and kindness.

Thank you MSP for always being my LIFESAVER:

And for being my partner on our HIKE through LIFE:

Can’t wait to see what the next 8 will bring!
– Mrs. B =)

WooHoo! Congrats you two! That’s awesome! Has it only been 8 years? You two were made for each other.
Thanks for including the great pix! What a great day for an anniversary. You always have it off from work and the whole world is celebrating too!

Hi Joan! Yep, that was actually part of the idea on picking the date. We figured it’d always be a time that we might be able to take a few days off. Although we didn’t think it through as well as we could have, because we find that after we do the gift-giving at xmas, we run smack into our anniversary a week later, then my bday a month after that. So we often choose not to ‘exchange’ gifts for the anniversary because our budgets are usually beat by that time!
We’ve been together for 10 years (well in March it will be) and married for 8. But it feels like so much longer than that (in a good way).
Thanks for the kind words of congrats!
