A quick Friday hello
Today we have snow
The drive to school may be sketchy
Gosh, I hope no one hits me
The earache pain is back
So I decided to slack
Today no workout for me
Maybe this weekend I’ll do three

LOL! I’d never make it as a rapper, ha ha! Have a great day everyone!

Well, I hope this counts, although it’s a tad on the meh side.
for no less than an hour and a half I (please don’t laugh) but I played puppy while JJ ate.
I had him rolling laughing. I said not one word as I explored the kitchen (on all fours) and by the end I was sweaty. I have a couple bruises on my knees and we never had so much fun.
dumb I know but I COUNTED IT.
hehehe

OMG! Too funny! Okay…I did my last week of strength training WOO HOO! I needed to finish it, and move onto something new, so tabata next week it is. I don’t remember the reps/rest if I don’t have a timer, can you remind me?
I did 40 minutes of strength training, ran late to the gym but made it! Have a great night, it’s friday thank god!

Hi Julie – I sent you an email with the timing just in case you were starting today. But here it is for those reading the comments too:
Tabata timing is typically a 4 minute round of all the same exercise (be it sprinting, weights, etc). There are 8 sets broken out in 20 sec on / 10 sec off increments.
If you don’t have a Tabata timer, you can ‘guestimate’ it by quickly (but still with good form) perform an exercise for 10-12 reps, then count off 10 seconds of rest and repeat for 8 sets. Then move on to the next exercise and do another 8 sets that way.
I LOVE Tabata!!
